Designs by Lexi Girl was born when I started working at a local hospital and had to have my hair covered for the department I work in. I called my mom and asked if she could make me some Scrub caps instead of paying Amazon. She said Sure!

I started wearing them to work and got lots of compliments and the patients I see on a daily basis thought they were adorable and it made them smile!

I then started having other employees ask where I bought them... The easy answer was… My mom! She's awesome ;)

We named our venture after my daughter and after some tossing around of names came up with Designs by Lexi Girl.

My goals: My hopes from this is to be able to take my adorable kiddo on vacation to Disney World and then Who knows! The world is our oyster!

Melissa’s goals: She wants to take some cruises with her granddaughter, buy a sewing machine that will let her personalize items and help to pay for her to go back to school! She has some lofty goals but I know she can do it!
